it was cold but it sure was pretty, i grew up in sandy so it was nice to go see the old stompin grounds!!

In Memory of Violet Pearl Smith Ashford

This beautiful lady is my 92 year old grama. Sadly, she passed away on Oct. 17, 2009. She was a beautiful lady both inside and out and never had a bad word to say about anyone.

She loved her family and always had a hug and kiss for everyone!! whether she knew them or not!
My mom and grama were very close and now they are together again...... my mom passed in Oct. of 2007.

You will be greatly missed grama and will always be loved!!

The Fence

i have never done a chainlink fence before but it turned out great and looks as good or better than the professionally installed fences!!

here are the pictures of the chainlink fence that me and my awesome nephew,kyle, put up in the yard.

setting the posts was the most dificult part of the job because of digging holes, pouring cement and making sure the posts are straight ind level

here are some recent pics of my horse. she is 14 years old and i have had her since she was 7 months old.

she is my sweetheart. i dont ride as much as i used to but i still love her!!

Labor Day

Over Labor Day weekend, we went to Taft CA. to visit my son-in-law. Even though the trip was long, we had a great time and a very enjoyable visit with Karl. Here are a few pictures of our trip. ENJOY!!!!

24 th of July weekend

over the holiday weekend, my AWESOME nephew, brother and sis-n-law came down and we did some remodeling on the house. here are a few pics to entertain you!!

this was my first time setting tile, it was pretty fun but very time consuming.

i had to prepare the floor before the tile could go down and it was very hot that day!!

DOG DAY AFTERNOON

jt loves to be outside and insists on playing in the middle of the dogs when they are WUFF housing!!! he gets bulldozed every once in a while but keeps right on playing!!

this past friday, we went swimming and had a blast!! i dont know how to swim but i sure had fun playing with JT!!

Last night, friday, JT and I went out to the backyard to play and he had a BLAST!!! he swung for a while and then got goofy.

GLAD TO BE HOME!!!!

phew!! what a trip! me, april, and jt went to california to visit karl over the weekend and got back sunday night about 7. it was a fun trip and it was really good to spend some time with karl......, but was i GLAD to get home. we didnt take any pics this time but there will be more trips. karl is doing great but he cant wait to get home. we miss him alot!!

phew!! just got done bathing my grandson....... i was as wet as him, but it was fun. been a fun day of watching him, but i will be glad when his mama gets home!!!

well, went fishing this mornin' and didnt do too bad. caught 6 and kept one. had a lot of fun !! i dont have any pics but i will post some when i can get some taken. everyone have a GREAT monday!!!!
